Chairperson Mao Binghua Invited to Attend China-Mozambique Business Forum
On the afternoon of April 17, the China-Mozambique Business Forum was held in Changsha. Co-hosted by the Hunan Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Mozambican Confederation of Economic Associations and other institutions, the forum was attended by senior Chinese and Mozambican officials including Mozambican President Daniel Francisco Chapo, Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Zheng Xuan, Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Xiao Bailing, and Mozambican Minister of Economy Basílio Muhate. Yang Aiyun, Chairperson of Hunan Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guo Ning, Director-General of Hunan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, as well as enterprise representatives from China and Mozambique participated in the event.

Centered on the theme of "Deepen Economic and Trade Cooperation, Expand Industrial Matching, and Achieve Mutual Benefit and Win-Win Results", the forum aims to build a practical communication platform for government and enterprises from China and Africa. It focused on introducing business opportunities in Mozambique’s agriculture, transportation and logistics, mining, manufacturing and other sectors, and promoted deeper cooperation between the two sides in infrastructure, production capacity collaboration, trade and investment. It also delivered efficient matching channels for Hunan enterprises to go global and Mozambique’s advantageous resources to enter China.



Mao Binghua, Chairperson of C-KINGDOM CABLE, was invited to the forum. During the event, she listened to presentations delivered by the Mozambique Investment and Export Promotion Agency and industry representatives from various sectors. She also exchanged views with officials from Mozambique’s economic authorities and local enterprise representatives on potential cooperation in copper industry and cable manufacturing. Mao Binghua stated that China and Mozambique share profound traditional friendship.
