"After more than four months away from Hunan, at long last you are here!" On the afternoon of August 31 local time, at the "New Farm for African Mothers" special event held in Maputo, capital of Mozambique, First Lady Gaeta Selemane Chapo emotionally expressed her heartfelt thoughts to the visiting Hunan delegation.

This anticipation stemmed from an encounter in April this year. During her visit to Hunan, Mrs. Chapo held a discussion with representatives of Hunan's female entrepreneurs. It was at that meeting that Mao Binghua, Chairman of Jinlong Group, forged a bond with the First Lady, quietly planting the seeds of cooperation.

Months later, the seeds sprouted. At the event, Mao Binghua, on behalf of Jinlong Group, donated photovoltaic energy storage equipment to Mozambique, providing stable power supply for local women's skills training and agricultural production through green energy. Chinese and foreign guests including Gaeta Selemane Chapo, First Lady of Mozambique; Laura Salvador Machava, Director of the Office of the First Lady of Mozambique; Manuel José Gonçalves, Mozambican Ambassador to China; Wang Junshou, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee; Wu Jinjia, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim and Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mozambique; Yang Lanying, President of the Hunan Provincial Women's Federation; and Guo Ning, Director of the Hunan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, attended and witnessed the event together.

The warm-hearted act did not stop there.

The next morning, Mao Binghua accompanied the delegation to Maputo Sun Coast Primary School. Seeing the muddy campus and scarce activity space, she decided on the spot to donate a concrete playground and basketball court, creating a solid, clean haven for the children's growth.

The two donations, seemingly "routine" corporate philanthropy, are in fact a natural expression of Jinlong Group's philosophy: "rooted in Africa, growing together with Africa."

"We come to Africa not merely for commodity trade, but with the aspiration to root advanced technology and production capacity here. Through systematic vocational skills training and the creation of new jobs, we aim to boost local industrial development and walk hand in hand with African partners on the path to mutually beneficial and win-win prosperity," said Mao Binghua.

In her view, for enterprises "going global," products and technology constitute hard power, while sincere care for the local people is the true passport to genuine integration. The photovoltaic equipment lights up the workshops of African mothers, while the concrete playground uplifts the childhood of African children—one addresses present livelihoods, the other embodies future hope.

This trip extends beyond Mozambique. During the several-day African itinerary, Mao Binghua will also accompany the delegation to visit the Chinese Embassy in Angola, the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Angola, and other institutions, exploring new pathways for Hunan-Africa women's economic and trade cooperation. She will also join local Chinese enterprise representatives and female entrepreneurs of the Angola Chinese Women's Federation in discussing the establishment of a regular liaison mechanism, to advance Hunan-Africa cooperation in greater depth and substance.

From Changsha to Maputo, and then to Luanda, the journey spans over ten thousand kilometers. Through her actions, Mao Binghua has embodied the "African sentiment" of a Chinese private entrepreneur—focusing not only on her enterprise's industrial layout and development space in Africa, but also on the real lives and long-term future of the people on this land. The story of Jinlong Group is a vivid footnote of Chinese private enterprises deeply integrating into Africa and jointly building a China-Africa community with a shared future.
