Delegation from Eight African Countries Visits C-Kingdom Group for Inspection and Exchange

Sincerity attracts the winds of the world; quality wins the trust of guests from afar. On the afternoon of April 22, C-Kingdom Group welcomed a group of distinguished visitors from afar. Led by Dai Xu and Du Genqi, Second-Level Inspectors of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, a delegation consisting of heads of peace organizations and security think tanks from African countries visited C-Kingdom Group for an exchange visit. The delegation included representatives from Namibia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and other African nations. Lu Jun, Head of International Affairs at C-Kingdom Cable, provided a comprehensive briefing throughout the visit.

Mao Binghua, Chairperson of C-Kingdom Group, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The guests toured the company’s cultural exhibition hall, intelligent manufacturing workshop, and power cable workshop, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s development history, corporate culture, product innovation, and business progress.

Subsequently, a symposium was held, presided over by Zhao Liping, Vice General Manager of C-Kingdom Group.

During the meeting, Mao Binghua pointed out that Africa is rich in mineral resources, while C-Kingdom’s demand for copper continues to grow robustly, creating opportunities for cooperation in recycled copper imports. With Africa’s rapid infrastructure development and C-Kingdom Cable’s prior involvement in local engineering projects on the continent, a solid foundation has been laid for deeper collaboration in wires and cables. Moreover, the permanent establishment of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Hunan provides a stable point of contact, fostering a long-term communication mechanism for cooperation. She also mentioned plans to visit Africa next month to prepare for the upcoming China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Changsha.

Mao Binghua emphasized that the development of C-Kingdom Group owes much to the attention and support of the Party and the government for private enterprises. C-Kingdom Group will continue to strengthen and refine its operations, actively participate in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and contribute meaningfully to China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. She expressed hope that both sides would leverage their respective strengths to collaborate in broader, deeper, and higher-level fields, achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

Liu Airong, General Manager of the Cable Division of C-Kingdom Group, introduced the core competitiveness and application cases of C-Kingdom Cable products to the delegation. He stated that in recent years, the company has adhered to a dual-track strategy of operating in both domestic and international markets. By closely following the Belt and Road Initiative, the company has actively participated in infrastructure projects in overseas countries, such as the Senegal Stadium, the Boali Hydropower Station Project in the Central African Republic, and substations in Myanmar, earning widespread acclaim from clients. The company will further strengthen its international presence and work hand in hand with African partners to build a path of light and prosperity.

During the exchange session, African delegates, including Charles Mbita, Head of the Delegation from Eight African Countries and Member of the Political Bureau of the SWAPO Party of Namibia and Director of the SWAPO Party School; John Baitani Joseph, Assistant to the Dean of the Nyerere Leadership Institute of Tanzania; Daniel Ibri Ungaki, Director of Publicity and External Relations at the Horn of Africa International Strategic Studies Institute of Kenya; and Henrik Mpuku, Executive Director of the Policy Analysis and Research Center of Zambia, raised questions about the challenges African countries face in production, technology, equipment, and talent cultivation in manufacturing. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from C-Kingdom Group on issues related to infrastructure development and the wire and cable industry in African nations.

The delegation expressed strong interest in C-Kingdom’s wire and cable products and potential cooperation in the recycled copper industry. They hoped that C-Kingdom Group would not only sell high-quality products to Africa but also consider establishing factories on the continent to foster closer collaboration, contribute to poverty reduction in African countries, and enhance local sustainable development capabilities.

Members of the delegation unanimously agreed that this exchange provided valuable insights for the industrial development paths of their respective countries. They expressed hope to work for the well-being of the Chinese and African people, create more favorable conditions for strengthening friendly exchanges between African countries and Hunan, and deepen cooperation between enterprises, ensuring that the fruits of collaboration benefit both Chinese and African peoples.

Leaders from the International Department expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended by C-Kingdom Group. They noted that the visit had deepened their understanding of the company and conveyed their best wishes for its future development.

Though China and Africa are separated by vast distances, the friendly exchanges between the Chinese and African people have a long history and a solid foundation.
