The 16th Congress of Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was successfully held from May 28 to 29. Wu Guiying, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Jian, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Chen Bozhang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Changsha, was also present. Other municipal leaders including Zhou Jian, Luo Zuanji, Liu Xinliang, Li Tiehua, Zhou Fan and Kang Zhenlin attended the event.
On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Municipal People's Government and Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Wu Guiying extended congratulations on the convening of the congress. She pointed out that since the 15th Congress of Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce, federation organizations at all levels across the city have united and guided numerous private entrepreneurs to forge ahead with innovation, making positive contributions to the high-quality development and modernization drive of Changsha. Wu Guiying emphasized that reform and innovation should be upheld to continuously improve the business environment. The "Enterprise Service Year" campaign shall be thoroughly carried out to resolve corporate difficulties through targeted support, fully implement favorable policies for enterprises, and foster a business-friendly atmosphere with sincere care for market entities. Party committees and governments at all levels shall support the federation to better perform its duties and create favorable conditions for the growth of the private economy.

Zhang Jian stated that Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce should adhere to the principles of running the federation with political integrity, solidarity, service and reform. It shall pool momentum for development by carrying forward the Hunan merchant spirit, cultivating young Hunan entrepreneurs and building the broadest united front. It shall consolidate grassroots foundations through integrity and innovation, deepen reform and foster a competent workforce to elevate the high-quality development of Changsha’s private economy to new heights.

The conference reviewed the work report of the 15th Executive Committee of Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce and adopted relevant resolutions of the 16th Member Congress by deliberation. A new leadership team of the Executive Committee was elected through voting at the congress. Mao Binghua, Chairperson of C-KINGDOM CABLE, was elected Part-time Vice Chairperson of the 16th Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), and C-KINGDOM CABLE was honored as a Vice Chairperson Unit of the 16th Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce).
