Standard: IEC60502-2
Structure:
1.Conductor
Copper or Aluminum conductor, in accordance with IEC60228 Class 2.
2.Conductor screen
A cross-linked semi-conductive material.The thickness of the conductor shield is 0.6-0.8mm.
3.Insulation
The insulation employs 35kV cross-linked polyethylene material. The XLPE specifications in IEC 60502-2.
(Insulation thickness details are specified in Table 1)
4.Insulation shielding
The insulation shielding layer employs an adhesive cross-linked semi conductive material uniformly. The shielding layer thickness ranges from 0.8 to 1 mm. The material with a peel strength of 4-45 N.
5.Metallic screen:
Copper wire or Copper strips.
(See Table 2 and 3 respectively for the total cross-sectional area of copper wire shielding and the shielding layer of copper strips)
6.Filling and wrapping lining
Non-hygroscopic material,wrapped with appropriate tapes(Limited to multi-core).
7.Inner sheath (armoured cable)
The inner sheath is constructed with an extruded PVC layer, PE, or LSZH. The extruded layer typically has a thickness of 0.02Du+0.6mm.
8.Armouring layer (for armoured cable)
Steel wire or Steel strip.
( The diameter of round steel wire is shown in Table 4)
9.Outer sheath
PVC & PE & LSZH,The standard outer sheath thickness is 0.035+D.
Cable properties
Working temperature:
90 °C (XLPE or EPR insulation)
Temperature range:
-15 °C(PVC sheath); -40 °C (PE sheath)
Short circuit temperature (maximum duration of short circuit is not more than 5s):
250°C (XLPE insulation)
Minimum bending radius of cable laying (D is the approximate outer diameter of cable):
Single-core unarmoured cable is 20D, multi-core unarmoured cable is 15D;
Single-core armoured cable is 15D, multi-core armoured cable is 12D;
Alternating voltage withstand test:
The cable withstands alternating voltage 4U0 for 5 minutes, and the insulation is not broken.
Partial discharge test:
The cable under 1.73 U0 AC voltage, no more than the background discharge (routine test background discharge is below 10Pc).

FAQ
It has developed into a national high-tech enterprise integrating research and development, production, and marketing services of new materials, new technologies, and wires and cables. It has been selected as one of the top 100 most competitive enterprises in China's cable industry for consecutive years, and its brand value ranks among the top in Hunan's wire and cable industry.
We offer a powerful combination of scale, innovation, and reliability. With over 120 patents, participation in drafting 7 national standards, and a 126,000 sq.m. intelligent manufacturing base, we are more than just a manufacturer—we are a solutions provider. Our commitment to investing 4% of revenue back into R&D ensures we can solve your most complex cable challenges, making us a strategic partner you can trust for the long term.
Our cables are widely used in Power Grids, Renewables & Storage (Wind, Solar), Construction & Infrastructure, Mining, Water & Hydropower, Rail Transit, and various Industrial applications. We are a trusted partner for major projects and enterprises.
Certainly. We provide comprehensive after-sales support, including access to product datasheets, installation guides, and CAD drawings. Our technical team is available to answer any questions and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal cable performance in your application.
We have extensive experience in international shipping. We can arrange shipment for you (FOB, CIF, etc.) based on your preference, handling all necessary documentation. Alternatively, you can appoint your own freight forwarder.
We support secure and flexible payment terms to facilitate global trade, including T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and L/C (Letter of Credit). Specific terms will be detailed in the proforma invoice.
For standard products, the lead time is generally 15-30 days. For custom-engineered products, the timeline depends on the technical complexity and order quantity. We practice "Sunshine Production Scheduling," and upon order confirmation, we will provide you with a detailed production and delivery schedule.
Yes, custom manufacturing is one of our core strengths. Leveraging our Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, we specialize in developing cables with specific requirements for dimensions, materials, shielding, armor, and performance characteristics (e.g., torsion-resistant, fire-resistant, cold-resistant).
Quality is embedded in our manufacturing process. We operate a state-of-the-art Intelligent Manufacturing Workshop with integrated online detection systems that perform real-time quality checks. Furthermore, every batch of finished products undergoes rigorous testing in our in-house laboratory to ensure they meet all specified standards.
To accommodate both large projects and emerging partnerships, we offer flexible MOQs. It varies by product type. Please contact our sales team with your specific product interest, and we will be happy to discuss a suitable quantity for you.
Yes, absolutely. Our cables are manufactured to comply with a wide range of international standards, including CE, RoHS, and IEC. We also hold relevant national certifications like the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC). Specific certifications can be provided upon request based on your country's requirements.
